Specifically, he is thinking about the long-term effects of COVID-19, termed “long COVID” or “long haul COVID.” Migraines are one long term effect of COVID-19. Unfortunately, there has so far been a lack of systematic data on long COVID. Dealing with long COVID-19 from many different levels is going to be critical, says Dr. Staats.
