Systematic Review of Neuromodulation

Dr. Tim Deer, in this interview, talks about the rapidly changing field of neuromodulation. Dr. Deer discusses his upcoming presentation on a systematic review of four neuromodulation studies. The studies include grading of evidence for spinal cord stimulation, brain stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and dorsal ganglion stimulation. He mentions that there are level-one research studies on the spinal cord and dorsal ganglion stimulation. There are several prospective studies on peripheral nerve stimulation but there is less evidence of the efficacy of brain stimulation.
