Current Landscape in Biologics
Dr. Sairam Atluri discusses the current landscape in biologics in musculoskeletal and spinal disorders. Now, according to the FDA, no stem cells or other biologics can be used at all outside of approved clinical trials. Dr. Atluri argues that stem-cell based interventions are not as negative as some reviews suggest, and instead complications may be due to medical practitioners operating outside of their scope of training.
