Help for chronic pain sufferers in Barra
Island News – Chronic pain sufferers in Barra now have support to help manage their pain, thanks to Big Lottery funding (BLF).
Pain Association Scotland can now extend their partnership working with NHS Western Isles to deliver intensive self-management courses and local monthly self-management group meetings for those burdened with chronic pain on Barra. The BLF funding will not only be used to set up this new service on Barra, but also to help to continue the existing service in Stornoway and Uist.
