Redefining Pain Medicine
Dr. Christopher Gharibo discusses refining pain management at the NYSIPP/NJSIPP Symposium. Pain management is becoming a surgical subspeciality, he explains.
But he also urges doctors to be as multidisciplinary as possible and to remember all aspects of pain (such as the neurological, psychological, etc.). Dr. Gharibo briefly describes how the nomenclature of this field can even evolve to better reflect modern pain treatment
