Biography

Dr. Maged Guirguis serves as the system chair of the interventional pain management department at Ochsner Health System. He also serves as an associate professor for the University of Queensland – Ochsner Clinical School of Medicine and as a clinical assistant professor for Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Guirguis is triple-board-certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine and headache management. Dr. Guirguis has special interest in neuromodulation and ultrasound guided interventions for chronic back and joint pain. He also has special interest in headache interventional treatment.
