Dr. Aaron Calodney demonstrates the proper technique to access the ideal portion of the iliac crest for obtaining bone marrow aspirate (as a source of mesenchymal stem cells). This includes the correct fluoroscopic imaging, angle of entry for the Jamshidi needle, and the correct use of the syringe for the suction of the aspirate. He then demonstrates how to reproduce this process to gather the needed volume of 60 cc of aspirate.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/4″][vc_column_text]
