Adhesiolysis Studies

Dr. Ludger Gerdesmeyer gives a slide presentation discussing many different studies on lysis of adhesions. He explains how the different success rates are dependent on the quality of the study. He also discusses what impact placebos and patient’s expectation can have on statistical outcomes. He concludes by reviewing data from a large, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial on the lysis procedure for lumbar radiculopathy.
