Dr. Harold Cordner gives a practical demonstration of sacroiliac (SI) joint injections guided by fluoroscopic X-ray in the cadaver lab. He first explains how to assess the X-ray and identify the areas of the SI joint to target. He explains the different areas to concentrate on based on age. He advises that women are more likely to develop laxity higher up than older people who experience laxity in the lower part of the joint. He then gives a step-by-step demonstration of the procedure.
