Swedish Study Finds ICU Patients Continue to Use Opioids Long Term
Over 10% of patients admitted to an ICU in Sweden over a nine-year period continued receiving prescriptions for opioids for at least six months, and in some cases up to two years, according to a retrospective cohort study.
