Dr. Gerdesmeyer and his collaborators conducted a study on epidural catheter treatment in chronic low back and leg pain, and he presents these data here. When they looked at patient outcomes after treatment, these researchers found that patients responded positively, even at long follow ups. Even these data have limits though.
