Comparison of Clinical Outcomes After Endoscopic Discectomy Between Interventional Pain Physician and Spine Surgeon
At the recent Gabor Racz Pain Conference and Workshop, Dr. Robert Rapcan encourages interventional pain specialists to learn to perform endoscopic discectomies. While traditionally spine surgeons have been the ones to perform this procedure, Dr. Rapcan reports that trained pain specialists can achieve similar clinical outcomes, giving their patients’ fast recovery times and similar complication rates.
