Biography

Dr. Frederick Weiss received his Bachelor’s in Health Studies in 2002 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. From there, he went on to TheGeorge Washington University of School of Medicine and Health Sciences, elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and graduated with distinction in 2008 with a Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Weiss pursued a Transitional Year internship through Georgetown University and recently completed Diagnostic Radiology residency at University of Maryland in June of 2013. Dr. Weiss completed a Musculoskeletal and Neuroradiology Hybrid Imaging Fellow at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, specializing in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal and neurologic procedures in 2014. He completed his ACGME Accredited Pain Medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Throughout medical school, Dr. Weiss acted as a course facilitator for Boston University’s online transitional DPT program, assisting in courses such as Health Care Management, Health Promotion and Wellness, Diagnostics, and Evidence-Based Practice. Throughout radiology residency and fellowship, Dr. Weiss lead entire courses on Clinical Neuroanatomy and Medical Neurology at University of Delaware’s entry-level DPT program, as well as lecturing on hematology/oncology, lymphatics and infectious disease. He also taught basic neuroscience lectures for University of Maryland’s DPT program. Dr. Weiss instructs multiple continuing education courses on brain and spine imaging, and is a leader in musculoskeletal ultrasound and interventional pain management.
