Biography

Dr. Douglas Beall is Chief of Operations of The Spine Fracture Institute, LLC and Chief of Radiology Services at Clinical Radiology of Oklahoma, both located in Oklahoma City, OK. In addition to expertise in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Interventional Spine Care, Dr. Beall is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management.

Dr. Beall graduated with his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine at Washington, DC. He completed a transitional internship at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City and residency in diagnostic radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Following his residency, Dr. Beall was Chief of Interventional Services at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, TX. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship program in musculoskeletal radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where he received training in joint and spine injection techniques before returning to the US Air Force where he served as Division Chief of the Musculoskeletal Section.

Dr. Beall is a member of many professional societies, including the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, Association of University Radiologists, Oklahoma State Medical Society, Oklahoma State Radiological Society, Radiologic Society of North America, Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine, Society of Skeletal Radiology, and Texas Radiological Society.

He is actively involved in teaching and research, publishing more than 200 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 5 textbooks, 11 textbook chapters, and more than 300 invited lectures and scientific presentations. Dr. Beall is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Diagnostic Imaging, and Reviewer for the Musculoskeletal Section of the American Journal of Roentgenology.
